The Clients page allows you to store and manage client records.
To access the page, go to the left sidebar menu and choose Clients.&nbsp;
At the top of the list, the search field helps you find a specific client. The list also allows you to sort by name, email, or currency.

<h2>Add a client</h2>
On the Clients page, find the Add client button at the top right.

In the form that opens, enter the following details: Name, Email, Address, Currency and Notes.

Click Add Client to save. The client will appear in the Clients list and can be used for project assignment and reporting.

<h2>Edit client details&nbsp;</h2>
Traqq allows you to update client information at any time.
To edit a client: Click the client name to open the client profile, or select Edit from the three-dot menu next to the client.

Update the details in the form and click Update Client to save changes.
<h2>Archive a client&nbsp;</h2>
Archive clients that are no longer active to keep the main list focused. Archiving keeps all historical data intact.
To archive a client, click the three-dot menu next to the client and select Archive.

Traqq moves archived clients to the Archived tab and removes them from the active list.
<h2>Restore a client</h2>
You can restore archived clients at any time.
On the Archived tab, select one or multiple clients using the checkboxes, then click Restore selected.

You can also restore a client by clicking on the three-dot menu next to the client and selecting Restore.

Restored clients return to the active list.
<h2>Delete a client&nbsp;</h2>
Clients can only be deleted from the Archived tab.
To delete a client, find the client in the Archived tab, click on the three-dot menu and select Delete.

When a client is deleted:

<li class="paragraph paragraph_lg">- It is removed from all associated projects and invoices - Associated projects are updated to use the workspace currency - Invoice amounts and totals remain unchanged</li>

Does Traqq support client management? Yes. Traqq allows you to add and manage clients that can be used across projects, invoices, and reports.
Can I assign clients to projects? Yes. You can assign a client when creating or editing a project. A client can also be used across multiple projects.
Who can manage clients in a workspace? Workspace Owners and Admins have full access to client management. Managers can view client details for the projects they manage. Users do not have access to the Clients section.

Managing clients

The Projects section lets you create and manage projects, assign clients and members, set billability rules, and review tracked time, cost, and revenue.
Workspace Owners and Admins have full access to projects and can create, manage, and configure all settings.
Managers can view project data for assigned projects, but they do not have access to financial data.
Users can view the project name and the total time they personally spent on assigned projects.
<h2>View projects</h2>
Open Projects from the left sidebar.

The main page shows all active projects with the following details:
- Project name - Connected client - Project manager - Total tracked time - Cost - Revenue
Use the search bar to find a project by project name or client name. You can also filter the list by project name, client, time, cost, and revenue.
<h2>Create a project</h2>
Step 1 Click Add project in the upper-right corner of the Projects page.

Step 2 In the window that opens, set up the project: - Enter project name - Choose project color - Select connected client - Add project members - Enable "Make new time entries billable by default" if needed

Step 3 Click Add project. The project appears in the Projects list and becomes available for time tracking.
<h2>View and edit projects</h2>
Click the project name to open project details. You can also click the three-dot menu next to a project and select View &amp; edit.

In the new window, open the Settings tab to update project configuration: - Change project name and color - Change connected client - Set or adjust billability rules - Assign or change project manager - Add or update project notes

<h3>Manage project access</h3>
Open the Access tab to manage project access.

You can add users to a project by clicking the Select field in the upper-left corner. From the list, choose team members and click Add users. The selected users appear in the project and can start tracking time immediately.

To remove users, click the three-dot menu next to a user and select&nbsp;Unassign.

You can also select multiple users using checkboxes and click&nbsp;Unassign selected.

Set or change rates in the Billable rate and Cost rate columns.
Click the three-dot menu in the rate column to open rate settings.

In the window that opens, you can:
- Set the current rate - View historical rates - View future rates - Delete rates
To delete a rate, click the trash icon next to it.

To add a new rate, click New billable rate, set the rate and its start date, then click Add billable rate.

<h2>Archive projects</h2>
Click the three-dot menu next to a project and select Archive.

Traqq moves the project to the Archived tab. After that, you can no longer track time for the project. Archived projects remain available for viewing historical time and project data.

<h2>Delete projects</h2>
You can delete projects only from the Archived tab.
Click the three-dot menu next to a project and select Delete.

Warning: Permanent deletion removes time entries, expenses, timesheets, approvals, and related records. Invoices stay unchanged. You cannot undo this action.

Does Traqq support project management? Yes. Traqq supports project management. You can create and manage projects, assign clients and team members, and track time, cost, and revenue.
Can I create multiple projects? Yes. Workspace Owners and Admins can create multiple projects in a workspace and manage them at any time.
Can I assign more than one client to a project? No. Each project can only be assigned to one client.
Can I assign multiple users to a project? Yes. You can assign one or more team members to a project. You can also update or change access at any time.

Creating and managing projects: managers, access, billability settings

Traqq allows Workspace Owners and Admins to configure project-specific billable and cost rates.
Project rates apply only to time tracked within the selected project. These rates override both personal rates and workspace default rates.
<h2>Configure project rates</h2>
Open the Projects section from the left sidebar.

Open the project settings by clicking the project name or by selecting View &amp; edit from the three-dot menu.

In the project settings, open the Settings tab and scroll down to the Billing section.&nbsp;

Setting project pay rates

Traqq provides several ways to analyze project-related data across your workspace: Summary tab in the project profile, Dashboard section, and Reports section.

Open the Projects section from the left sidebar.

Click the project name in the list or select View &amp; edit from the three-dot menu to access the project profile.

The&nbsp;Summary tab gives you an overview of project performance.
At the top, you can see a visual breakdown of tracked time for the selected period, including how work is distributed across days.

Below the chart, you can check key project metrics:
- Total tracked time - Billable and non-billable time - Revenue - Cost - Margin
You can also see project manager, connected client, number of assigned members, and top contributors.
The contributor section shows how work is spread across the team, including total and billable time per user.

You can also look at project data from the Dashboard section in the left sidebar.

The Dashboard shows tracked time, workload distribution, and financial data.
You can switch between Time and Money tabs and use filters to select a reporting period and projects and narrow data by teams.

In the Time tab, the pie chart below the bar chart shows how time is distributed across projects. You can switch between Projects and Clients using the controls above the chart.

<h2>Reports</h2>
Reports allow you to analyze tracked time, billable hours, revenue, and cost across one or more projects.
Open the Reports section from the left sidebar and choose the Time tab.

The Time tab includes three views: Summary, Weekly, and Detailed.
<h3>Summary view</h3>
The Summary tab shows overall project statistics for the selected period. To view data for specific projects, choose one or more projects using filters and click Apply.&nbsp;

You can also group data by day, week, month, user, team, project, client, or tag.&nbsp;

At the top of the results, you see total tracked time, billable time, revenue, and cost.
Below that, data is grouped based on the selected option in the Group by filter. The table shows tracked time, billable time, revenue, and cost for each group.

<h3>Weekly view</h3>
The Weekly tab shows total tracked time, billable time, revenue, and cost for the selected week. To view data for specific projects, choose one or more projects using filters and click Apply.&nbsp;

You can group data by user, team, project, or client.&nbsp;

Workspace Owners and Admins can create and manage tags that team members can use while tracking time. Tags help organize work entries and make it easier to group similar tasks across projects and reports.
Here are some examples of how teams can use tags:

Managing tags

In Traqq, each time entry can be assigned to a specific project and task while tracking time. This helps organize tracked work and review how time is distributed across different projects and tasks.&nbsp;
All features described in this article are available across all tracking modes, including timer mode, manual time entries, and break mode.
You can set and update project and task details for each time entry in the Tracking section &rarr; Time log tab.

<h2>Set task name</h2>
In the What are you working on? field, enter the task name you want to track.

This can be a short description of the work you are doing, such as &ldquo;Code optimization&rdquo; or &ldquo;New feature design.&rdquo;
It can also be a longer task name that provides more context about the work. In such cases, Traqq still displays the full name, and you can see it by hovering over the task.

<h2>Select a project</h2>
Click the Project field and select a project from the list.

The availability of projects depends on your role:

<h2>Add tags and set billability</h2>

<li class="paragraph paragraph_lg">To add more context to a time entry, click + Tag and select tags from the list. You can add multiple tags to a single task.</li>

<h2>Edit task name, project, and tags</h2>
Users can update the task name, project, tags, and billability at any point:

<h2>Group similar time entries&nbsp;</h2>
Time entries with identical task, project, and tag details are automatically grouped together.
Click the arrow next to a grouped task to expand it and view all individual time entries under that task. The arrow also shows the number of time entries in the group.
