Owners and Admins can manage pay rates at three levels in Traqq: workspace, personal, and project.
Traqq automatically applies the most specific rate available:

<h2>Workspace default rates</h2>

<li class="paragraph paragraph_lg">Workspace default rates are used when no personal or project rates are configured.</li>
<li class="paragraph paragraph_lg">To manage workspace default rates, click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the web app and open Workspace settings.</li>

Setting personal default pay rates

Traqq allows Workspace Owners and Admins to configure project-specific billable and cost rates.
Project rates apply only to time tracked within the selected project. These rates override both personal rates and workspace default rates.

Open the Projects section from the left sidebar.

Open the project settings by clicking the project name or by selecting View &amp; edit from the three-dot menu.

The Billing section also includes an option to make new time entries billable by default. When enabled, any newly tracked time is automatically marked as billable unless adjusted manually.

Setting project pay rates

The Invoices section allows you to create invoices, import billable time and expenses, configure invoice defaults, and send invoice emails to clients.
To access invoices, open the Invoices section from the left sidebar.
The Invoices page contains three tabs:

<li class="paragraph paragraph_lg">Draft &mdash; the invoice is created but not yet sent.&nbsp; Sent &mdash; the invoice has been sent to the client.&nbsp; Paid &mdash; the full amount has been received.&nbsp; Partially paid &mdash; only a portion of the invoice has been paid. Overdue &mdash; the due date has passed and the invoice remains unpaid.&nbsp; Void &mdash; the invoice has been canceled and is no longer valid.&nbsp; Written off &mdash; the invoice is considered uncollectible and will not be paid.</li>
<li class="paragraph paragraph_lg">Use the three-dot menu at the end of an invoice row to access additional actions:&nbsp;</li>

<li class="paragraph paragraph_lg">-&nbsp;Payments:&nbsp;Opens the payment history. You can also delete past payment records by clicking the trash icon.</li>
<li class="paragraph paragraph_lg"><img src="/upload/editor/2026-05-21_19:14:54_mceclip5.png"> - Download:&nbsp;Downloads the invoice as a PDF file. - Duplicate:&nbsp;Creates a copy of the invoice with the Draft status. - Mark as sent:&nbsp;Changes the invoice status to Sent. - Mark as void:&nbsp;Changes the invoice status to Void. - Mark as draft:&nbsp;Changes the invoice status to Draft. - Delete:&nbsp;Opens a confirmation window. If you proceed, all time entries linked to this invoice will be unlinked and marked as uninvoiced/unpaid. All associated payment records will also be permanently removed.</li>

Invoices

Traqq provides several ways to review financial data across your workspace. You can analyze revenue, cost, and profit from the Dashboard, Reports section, and individual project pages.
Financial data is calculated based on tracked time, billable settings, user rates, and project-related costs.
Depending on what level of detail you need, you can:
