Time report

The Time report helps you review how tracked time is distributed across your organization and understand how work is allocated across projects, teams, clients, and users.

You can:

  • - Analyze tracked and billable time across projects and teams
    - Compare revenue and cost for the selected period
    - Understand how work is distributed across clients, users, and projects
    - Review individual time entries and tracked work sessions
  • To access the data, open the Reports section from the left sidebar and select the Time tab.
  • At the top of the page, you can switch between the available views: 
  • - Summary
    - Weekly
    - Detailed
  • Each view provides a different level of detail, from high-level insights to detailed time entry breakdowns.
  • Summary view

  • The Summary tab provides an overview of tracked time and financial data for the selected period. This view helps you understand how tracked time, billable time, revenue, and cost are distributed across the workspace.
  • You can filter the report by date range, teams, users, projects, clients, and tags. After setting filters, click Apply to update the report.
  • Data in the report can be organized using the Group by option.
  • Available grouping options include:
  • - Day
    - Week
    - Month
    - User
    - Team
    - Project
    - Client
    - Tag
  • You can also apply multiple grouping levels. For example, grouping by Team → Month → Project first organizes data by team, then breaks it down by month, and finally by project within each month. Each level can be expanded by clicking on it. In this example, click a team name to view months, and then click a month to view projects.
  • At the top of the report, you can see workspace data based on the selected filters:
  • - Total tracked time
    - Billable time
    - Revenue
    - Cost
  • Below the summary, a table shows tracked data for each group, including:
  • - Tracked time
    - Billable time
    - Revenue
    - Cost
  • Weekly view

  • The Weekly tab shows a breakdown of tracked time by day for the selected week. 
  • You can filter the report by teams, users, projects, clients, and tags. 
  • In this view, data can be grouped by project, client, user, and team. 
  • Multiple grouping levels are also available. For example, Project → Team → User helps you understand how work is distributed within projects across particular teams and users.
  • You can also switch between different metrics to focus on specific data, including tracked time, billable time, revenue, cost, and profit.
  • The table shows a weekly breakdown from Monday to Sunday, with totals for each row.
  • Detailed view

  • The Detailed tab provides a granular breakdown of individual time entries. 
  • Here you can see:
  • - Project name
    - Task description and tags
    - User
    - Date and start time of the task
    - Duration
    - Revenue
    - Cost
  • Each row represents a specific time entry, making it easy to review tracked work in detail.
  • You can filter the report by date range, teams, users, projects, clients, and tags.
