Meet the new Traqq

We’ve rebuilt Traqq from the ground up. Traqq now gives teams more context around the time they track, from projects and tasks to costs and capacity.

• Track time with a timer, add time manually, or record breaks separately.
• Assign time entries to projects and tasks, and mark time as billable or non-billable.
• Set schedules and capacity and compare planned hours with actual tracked time.
• Add clients and link them to projects to keep tracked time connected to client work.
• Set billing and cost rates for users, projects, and the workspace.
• Track project progress and forecast when planned hours or budget will be reached based on current work pace.
• Add and submit work-related expenses for approval.
• Generate timesheets from tracked time and submit them for approval.
• Create and send invoices directly to clients from Traqq.
• Analyze tracked time, attendance, compliance, and financial performance across projects, clients, users, and teams.
• Use the Traqq browser extension to integrate with productivity, communication, development, and design tools.

What’s new:

• Resolved several issues with the delivery of scheduled reports
• Completed migration to a new payment system (PayPro Global) 
• The auto-update interval for the page has been extended to 15 minutes to save browsers' resources
• Users can now delete apps and websites from their individual timelines
• A new search system has been implemented, allowing quick column-specific searches
• For improved user convenience, the parameter saving mechanism on application tabs has been optimized (the "Apply" button has been removed)
• Windows & MacOS desktop apps:

- A smart tracking feature has been added, allowing users to specify apps that will automatically pause tracking when accessed
- Users can now log in to the application using either an API key or quick browser-based authentication

• New Overlimit Time report added
• Apps & Websites report enhanced for faster loading
• Clicking on the user name now takes you to your Traqq profile for quick access
• Disable Activity option added to allow tracking time without displaying activity percentage
• Public Reports feature added, allowing you to generate links to your reports and share them with others

Fixed:

• Problem experienced by some users with clicks on the Apps & Websites report taking them to the dashboard
• Occasional logout when switching between sections
• macOS app:

- Error with loading data in the crash report window
- Occasional crashes when coming out of sleep mode
- Occasional bug with reading saved settings
- Button added to close small notification popups
- Issue with syncing tracked time with the server after connection loss

What’s new:

• Enhanced Reports section interface
• Changed the format for exporting and scheduling reports from csv to xslx
• You can now type comments in any language when manually adding time
• Optimized the design and functionality of the “Add time manually” section

Fixed:

• Resolved some Timelines section bugs: user selection and date are now saved when you switch between sections or refresh the page
• Improved website detection in the Traqq app for Windows

What’s new:

• New Attendance section lets you track your employees’ work hours and attendance
• Enhancements made to Timelines:

- Improved automated page updating mechanism
- Added a “Show archived” checkbox to the people selection dropdown menu on Individual Timelines
- Using arrows to switch dates on the timeline will now skip days with no recorded activity

• Added support of the Arc and Opera web browsers in the Traqq app for Mac
• Added a Contact Us form to the online Traqq account interface
• Hovering over a user’s name on the Team Timelines will now display a “Current user’s time” hint

Fixed:

• Fixed occasional failure to transmit information about apps and websites used when tracking is stopped
• Resolved the issue of occasional incorrect database entries in the Traqq app for Mac
• Fixed several minor bugs
• Enhanced the encryption algorithm for locally stored data in the Traqq app for Mac
• Improved website use detection mechanism in the Traqq app for Windows
• Resolved an issue with sorting data in the Time Off, Time Requests and Timelines sections

What’s new:

• New timelines now show app and web use instead of screenshots or videos, so Traqq feels even less intrusive
• Added team timelines comparison feature
• Updated Mac, Windows & Linux desktop apps with new tracking algorithms to ensure faster data transfer to Traqq servers
• Windows desktop app is now available for download in .msi format
• Updated Time Requests section interface to make it easier to navigate and use

Fixed:

• Several minor bugs with the Mac desktop app
• Improved data storage logics to speed up the loading of Traqq online account pages

What’s new:

• In response to numerous requests by account Admins and Owners, the Dashboard will now list top 3 users for websites and apps when you click through Top Apps and Top Websites
• The Dashboard and Reports features have been enhanced to work faster

Fixed:

• Freezes and crashes in the app for macOS experienced by some users during high system hardware loads have been resolved

What’s new:

• Optimized the process of inviting new users. When someone follows the invite link, they are now welcomed with a new informative popup helping ensure a smoother start with the service
• Added new options in Organization Settings for defining the work week and work day

Fixed:

• Enhanced data transmission between the Traqq app and the server, including sending data after extended stretches of offline work
• Fixed some bugs and optimized the Time Off section by adding convenient horizontal scroll to ensure a smoother experience on desktop computers
