Set up the Traqq browser extension

Install the Traqq browser extension

Download and install the Traqq extension for your browser: Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Sign in to your Traqq account

Open the extension and sign in with your Traqq account.

Enable Atlassian integrations

Open the extension settings and enable Jira and Confluence integrations.

Track time from Jira and Confluence

Open the Jira issue or Confluence page you want to track. Traqq adds a time tracking control directly to your workflow:

  • Jira: Find the Traqq button when hovering over an issue or inside the issue details view.
  • Confluence: Find the Traqq button at the top of supported content, including pages and whiteboards.

Click the Traqq icon to open the tracking window, where you can:

  • Select a Traqq project
  • Add tags
  • Mark the time entry as billable or non-billable

Traqq automatically uses the Jira issue or Confluence page title as the task name.

Click Start tracking to begin.

Once tracking starts, your timer stays synced across:

  • Browser extension
  • Traqq web app
  • Traqq desktop app
