Most companies use Monday, but you can set it to match your actual pay period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>24-hour time:<\/strong> Turn this on if you prefer military time (17:00 instead of 5:00 PM). Otherwise, leave it off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Workweek days (1-7):<\/strong> How many days do you work per week? Standard is 5, but if you&rsquo;re part-time or work a different schedule, adjust accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rounding (min):<\/strong> Some companies round time to the nearest 15 minutes. Set this to match your company&rsquo;s policy so your calculations align with what payroll does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Daily OT limit (hrs):<\/strong> When does overtime start for a single day? Usually 8 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Weekly OT limit (hrs):<\/strong> When does overtime kick in for the week? Typically 40 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Base rate (USD\/hr):<\/strong> Your standard hourly rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>OT rate (USD\/hr):<\/strong> Your overtime rate. Change it if you&rsquo;re logging vacation, sick leave, or another type of time off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Paid time off:<\/strong> Toggle to &ldquo;Yes&rdquo; if you&rsquo;re tracking PTO hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Start time:<\/strong> When you started working (like 09:00)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>End time:<\/strong> When you finished (like 17:00)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Break (min):<\/strong> How many minutes of unpaid breaks did you take?
